Ann’s Small Wine Talk        

Hi, I am Annalia, living in one of Europe biggest cities Rotterdam, The Netherlands.

Originally I am from a tiny village Swifterbant. However, with my ambitions and passion for wine I landed up here.

I have studied Hospitality management in the North of Holland and created a passion for wine. Therefore, I joined the wine association and studied at The Cape Wine Academy located in Stellenbosch, South Africa. In my graduation year I moved to Antwerp, Belgium to work at a wine bottle company were I learned more about wine quality and bottling.

After my graduation I moved for my work to Rotterdam to work for JF Hillebrand. This International organization is specialized in transporting Wines & Beverages. JF Hillebrand is an innovative organization and is inspiring me. Unfortunately my activities directly with wine has decreased, therefore I was thinking how to solve this problem. Thus, I started this blog “Ann’s Small Wine Talk”.

With my blog I would like to inspire and teach you the fun and important facts about wine. It is for a reason called “Small talk”, since wine is complex but can be explained in an easier way. A lot of people have no doubt what there is in wine and my motto is “Every great story starts with wine” on a good way.

Wine is my ambition but I love to cook and life a healthy live, so I would like to share my cooking skills and dishes too.
